This photo is the frustrating reminder of how expensive film photography is. I had been testing out a make-your-own camera kit which was so poorly designed that the already exposed film was re-exposed every time you opened the shutter, making this, the last exposure on the roll, the only printable picture. Oh if only the rest had come out well for some dramatic faux-Victorian photography!
